SmsGuard respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how the application handles information when you use the SmsGuard mobile application.
SmsGuard may access SMS messages stored on your device in order to provide core messaging functionality. This includes sending messages, receiving messages, detecting spam messages and allowing users to manage conversations.
All SMS processing happens locally on your device. SmsGuard does NOT upload or transmit message content to any external server.
Phone numbers may be used for spam detection, blocking unwanted messages and reporting spam numbers.
If a spam report is submitted, only the phone number may be sent anonymously. Message content is never transmitted.
All application data including SMS messages, blocked numbers, spam rules and user settings are stored locally on your device.
SmsGuard does not maintain servers that store personal messages.
SmsGuard may request SMS permissions to allow sending, receiving and managing messages. These permissions are required for the application to function as a messaging application.
SmsGuard may display advertisements using third-party advertising providers such as Google AdMob. These services may collect anonymous device identifiers according to their own privacy policies.
SmsGuard is designed with a privacy-first approach. Message content is processed locally and sensitive data is not transmitted externally.
